We are dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthrisis, lupus, gout, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoporosis, vasculitis, inflammatory muscle diseases, and other causes of musculoskeletal pain. We insure continuity of care by working closely with other physicians and specialists to coordinate care of our patients with complex rheumatologic conditions.

We offer a full service Infusion Center providing state of the art care, staffed by registered nurses.

Dr Xu developed a deep fascination for the field of Rheumatology during her research training at the University of British Columbia. She focused her academic education on clinical epidemiology in arthritis research for 7 years.

She is Board Certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency at Sanford School of Medicine in South Dakota, and finished her Rheumatology fellowship training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston where she received superb recommendations.

Dr Xu stated: “The field of Rheumatology provides an opportunity to prevent when possible, treat when possible and alleviate pain when possible. Medicine means more than merely applying medical knowledge to people. I care and I am willing to listen to patients.”

Glenna Allbritton, has been practicing as a Rheumatology NP for the last 13 years in Louisiana.  She is nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, a Clinical Densitometrist, and as a Gerontology Nurse She will be seeing selected follow up patients and selected new patients under the supervision of Dr. Xu.

Dr. Wisner is retired as of August 1, 2016.
